normalcy

normalcy
не хирургическое вмешательство, а успокоение" ["America's present need is not heroics but healing, not nostrums but normalcy; not revolution but restoration ... not surgery but serenity ..."]. Лозунг "возврата к норме ...", "нормальному состоянию" ["back to normal", "return to normalcy"] успешно использовали республиканцы в ходе предвыборной кампании 1920
